We are looking for a focused and enthusiastic Pediatric Nurse to pick up shifts in a Hospital based in Redhill

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct care for children and young people with a range of pediatric conditions.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for pediatric patients.
- Ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care is delivered at all times.
- Provide pain management and ensure comfort measures are met.
- Recognize and respond to early signs of deterioration in a child’s condition.
- Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance care standards.
- Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and families, providing reassurance and support.
- Work collaboratively with doctors, healthcare assistants, therapists, and other nurses in the pediatric team.
- Adhere to infection control, health and safety, and safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Safeguard the well-being of children in your care, ensuring child protection policies are followed.
- Report and escalate any concerns regarding patient safety or potential risks to the appropriate team members.
